ACL Cubs

Lost to the Diamondbacks, 9-5.

So this game was actually played on Saturday, but after reminding everyone on Friday that the Arizona Complex League started on Saturday, I forgot about it on Saturday. The ACL Cubs were off today.

As always, I don’t do a full recap of ACL games. I’ll post the box scores and if any player had a game worth mentioning, I’ll say something. I suppose what’s worth mentioning in Saturday’s game is that the Cubs’ third- and fourth-round picks last year, Ronny Cruz and Ty Southisene, both made their professional debuts in this game. Southisene was 1 for 3 with a walk and Cruz was 1 for 3 with a double.
