Allan Hancock baseball players Braden Oliver, Colin Johnston and Shane Heriford all committed to four year schools to continue their college baseball careers.

Oliver will head to NAIA Lewis-Clark State College next season following a strong sophomore campaign where he finished the season batting .320 with 43 RBIs and 11 stolen bases. He was also selected to the Western State Conference First Team All-Conference team and was a WSC Gold Glove recipient.

“I chose Lewis-Clark State because I get to play in one of the most competitive baseball programs there is in college baseball,” Oliver said. “I have full confidence in Coach (Jeremiah) Robbins and the rest of the Lewis-Clark State coaching staff to turn me into the best baseball player and person I can become.”

Lewis-Clark State has had a historic baseball past where the Warriors have won 13 NAIA National Championships and has been the host for the NAIA World Series.

Johnston had a down sophomore year batting just .203 with eight RBIs and four stolen bases but will play at NCAA Division II Eastern New Mexico next season.

The Greyhounds went 17-33 last season in the Lone Star Conference.

Heriford will be heading to NAIA Park University in Gilbert, Arizona next year.
