Four players on Gibraltar/Washington Island’s baseball team have been named to the All-Packerland Conference first team.
The first-team Vikings include three juniors – pitcher Aaron Brey, infielder Owen Dannhausen and outfielder Cam Munao – and senior catcher Brady Kita. Southern Door senior infielder Tyler Neinas and Sturgeon Bay senior outfielder Patrick Haese also made the first team.
The two Clippers on the second team include freshman pitcher Ethan Kratcha and senior catcher Caleb Plzak. Eagles senior outfielder Braylon Berg also made the second team.
The four Sevastopol underclassmen receiving honorable mention include three freshmen – pitcher Andrew Wiesner, infielder Bo Tanck and outfielder Roman LeClair – and junior catcher Logan Schuh.
Southern Door had three players receive honorable mention – freshman infielder Collin Everard and two seniors, infielder Isaac Bauduin and utility player Drew Daoust.
The two Gibraltar/Washington Island seniors receiving honorable mention are infielder Bennett Isaacson-Krueger and outfielder Jaxin Lindgren.
Sturgeon Bay senior infielder Bryce Plzak also received honorable mention.
This season’s Packerland Player of the Year from undefeated conference champion Kewaunee is junior pitcher Brett Paulsen. He and Storm junior outfielder Alec Carlson are the only two unanimous all-conference baseball selections this season.
