During his junior season, Brennan was a starter for the Bruins and finished the year with a .290 batting average. He also had 63 hits, 51 RBIs, 11 doubles, three triples and nine home runs.

UCLA had a dominant season. The Bruins went 52-8 and won their first Big Ten title in an 11-inning thriller over Oregon. While the Bruins were awarded the No. 1 overall seed in the postseason, they were eliminated in the Los Angeles Regional in the loser’s bracket 6-5 against St. Mary’s.

Brennan brings a bit more offensive experience as a rising senior. Texas’ power was on display at various points throughout the season but in its final game against Georgia to keep the season alive, the Longhorns mustered only four hits in the 2-0 CWS shutout.
