Two big innings countered what offensive momentum the Laramie Rangers built.

Windsor (Colorado) conquered a deficit and defeated the Rangers, 8-6 (six innings), on Thursday during the Gabe Pando Memorial Wood Bat Tournament in Windsor, Colorado.

Windsor, trailing 4-0 entering the bottom of the third inning, plated eight runs across its next two offensive frames and led 8-6 entering the fifth inning.

Laramie led 2-0 after the first inning when Jackson Bailey scored on a wild pitch, and Larsen Wesnitzer scored on a walk. 

Cayden Hardesty paced the Rangers (26-27 overall, 9-3 Senior Legion South Conference) with two hits. Will Harris and Quade Gill each added one. 

Laramie starting pitcher Trace Looney allowed four walks, one earned run and a hit in three innings. Colton Carline surrendered four earned runs, four hits and a walk against seven batters faced. He struck out one.

Gill allowed a hit in 1â…“ innings and struck out one.

Laramie will continue the tournament at 9 a.m. Thursday against One6 Baseball (Colorado).
