The Cannon Falls Bears 10-runned and shut out the Hastings Hawks 10-0 in seven innings in a Classic Cannon Valley League game the afternoon of the Fourth of July behind a Meyers-family effort by Keith and his sons Jack and Tyler.

Keith pitched all seven innings for the win and allowed just seven hits and a walk with nine strikeouts as the Hawks never were able to get much going. While Keith was on the mound, he was joined in the field by Jack at first base, who graduated from Cannon Falls in 2025 and plays baseball for the University of Minnesota-Duluth, and Tyler at second base who just finished his junior year at CFHS. Jack and Tyler each had three hits in the win and combined to drive in seven runs – four RBIs for Jack and three for Tyler. After the game the three had pictures taken together and Keith commented on how special the moment was for him.
