The Ahnapee Trailblazers led by a run going in the bottom of the seventh innings on Saturday, then gave up two runs and lost their Senior Legion baseball game at Bonduel, 4-3.
It marked the second time Ahnapee lost by a run to Bonduel this season after the Trailblazers dropped a 3-2 decision July 2 at Sturgeon Bay’s Memorial Field.
Ahnapee, which has an overall season record of 3-7, has two more regular-games on the schedule – Monday at Ashwaubenon and Wednesday at Memorial Field to host Bay Port.
The Trailblazers will be playing in the AA Legion regional tournament scheduled for July 23-26 at the Village Park in Casco. The four-team, double-elimination tournament includes Ahnapee, Kewaunee County, Denmark and Ashwaubenon. The Trailblazers’ first tournament game is set for July 23 at 8 pm against the host team, Kewaunee County.
