The Pittsburgh Pirates announced their 2027 regular season schedule.
The Pirates will open the 2027 campaign at home with three games against the Athletics, beginning on March 25.
It will mark the earliest Pittsburgh has ever started a season. It will also be the first time the
Pirates open the season at home since April 3, 2016 vs. St. Louis.
Pittsburgh will travel to Cincinnati for three games against the Reds (March 29-31) during the team’s first road trip of the season.
Other highlights of the 2027 regular season schedule include a six-game homestand against the San Diego Padres and New York Yankees April 2-7, a six-game homestand with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Miami Marlins on July 6-11 and a season-long, 10-game homestand against the Arizona Diamondbacks, Atlanta Braves and New York Mets from July 23 until Aug. 1.
