ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Major League Baseball released its 2027 regular-season schedule Thursday despite uncertainty surrounding the season amid ongoing disagreements between MLB and the MLB Players Association.
For the Atlanta Braves, the opening stretch could set the tone early. Atlanta is scheduled to open the season with back-to-back road series against the Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers before returning to Truist Park on April 2 for its home opener against the Houston Astros.
If the season begins on time, the Braves will face the Dodgers at Dodger Stadium on Thursday, March 25, before getting a day off Friday and resuming the series Saturday. The league’s March 25 Opening Day would be the earliest in MLB history.
The Braves will again face every team in Major League Baseball as part of the balanced schedule format introduced before the 2023 season.
Atlanta will play home-and-home series against each National League team. The Braves will also face every American League club in one three-game series, with the exception of the Boston Red Sox. The Braves and Red Sox are scheduled to meet twice in 2027. Boston will visit Truist Park from May 18-20, and Atlanta will travel to Fenway Park from July 16-18 for its first series after the All-Star break.
The 2027 MLB All-Star Game is scheduled for July 13 at Wrigley Field in Chicago.
The Braves will spend much of September at home, playing 12 of their final 18 regular-season games at Truist Park. Atlanta will close the season with a six-game homestand against the Washington Nationals from Sept. 21-23 and the Miami Marlins from Sept. 24-26.
The schedule also includes several holiday weekend series at Truist Park. The Braves will host the Pittsburgh Pirates over Memorial Day weekend from May 28-30, the New York Yankees over Father’s Day weekend from June 18-20 and the Los Angeles Angels during Fourth of July weekend.
