Brewers place Sal Frelick on IL with right shoulder strain, recall Blake Perkins | Sports

MILWAUKEE (WKOW) — The Milwaukee Brewers placed outfielder Sal Frelick on the 10-day injured list with a right shoulder strain. The team recalled outfielder Blake Perkins from Triple-A Nashville to fill the roster spot.

The moves were announced ahead of the Brewers’ game against the Marlins at American Family Field.

Blake Perkins appeared in 34 games with Milwaukee earlier this season, recording 11 RBI and three stolen bases while providing defensive versatility across the outfield before being optioned to Triple-A Nashville earlier this month.
