The Tri-Valley baseball team faces off against Holy Redeemer in the PIAA 2A state playoffs at Wilkes University Monday. It was a beautiful June day for baseball following an unusually cool May: The average high temperature for May was 67.5 degrees, nearly a full 5 degrees below the normal monthly high of 72.2, according to the National Weather Service.
