Colton Cowser is back with the Orioles, more than two months after suffering a fractured thumb, the team announced Monday.Cowser hurt his thumb while sliding into first base in a game against the Toronto Blue Jays. Before injury, Cowser was leading off for the Orioles but went just 2-for-16 across the first four games.After initially being placed on the 10-day injured list, he was transferred to the 60-day IL.The 2024 American League Rookie of the Year runner-up’s return comes at a time when the Orioles are struggling despite a three-game winning streak. The O’s are 22-36, last place in the American League East.
