TGIF!

We hit the hottest temperatures of the summer this week, but hopefully the weather won’t stop Arlington from enjoying its weekend.

No matter the genre, you can always find me at a live show, jamming out to whatever song is playing. I often crave a live show without a price tag. If you are looking for the same, stop by the free Summer Music Series happening every Friday at the Texas Rangers Golf Club until Sept. 11. This week, Emily Knutson will take the stage, serenading us with her country tunes all night long.

Feel like catching a baseball game instead? Our Texas Rangers are facing the Seattle Mariners over the next couple of days. Whether you are an Oklahoma State University alum, an HBCU graduate, or a massive “Harry Potter” fan, there is a specialty night for you this weekend.

Or, spend your Saturday evening strolling through downtown Arlington at the After Hours Market. With over 50 local vendors offering items ranging from food to handmade jewelry to artwork, attendees are bound to find something they like.

Whatever you decide to do this weekend, send me an email to let me know what you’re up to. See you next Friday!
