ATWATER — The Atwater Chuckers remained alive in County Line League amateur baseball playoffs Friday night by walking off the Regal Eagles.

Atwater beat Regal 3-2 at Kingery Field.

Atwater, the third seed, got a one-out, RBI single from Jack Peterson in the bottom of the ninth to beat the fifth-seeded Eagles.

Peterson finished 2-for-4 with three RBIs and a walk. He also allowed one run over six innings, striking out six and walking two. He allowed three hits and one run.

Josh Kingery walked five times for the Chuckers.

Atwater plays Paynesville in another elimination game at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Atwater.

Brock Bruntlett went 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs and four RBIs to help lead the Paynesville Pirates past Norway Lake-Sunburg in an elimination game at Paynesville.

Paynesville is the fourth seed. NLS was the sixth seed.

Spencer Eisenbraun was 3-for-4 with a run for the Pirates.

Bennett Evans got the complete-game win, striking out seven. He scattered 10 hits and allowed four earned runs.

Evan Zimmer was 3-for-4 with an RBI and Jared Cortez was 2-for-5 with two runs for the Lakers.

A four-run seventh inning proved to be the difference for the Dassel-Cokato Saints in their victory over the Willmar Rails at Dassel.

Willmar led 7-5 going into the bottom of the seventh.

Ashton Gregory went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs and an RBI for the Rails. Christian Lessman homered, finishing 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBIs. Riley Lessman also had two hits for Willmar.
