Kody Clemens delivered a stunning finish at Target Field Thursday afternoon, hitting a game-ending grand slam to give the Minnesota Twins a 4-to-3 victory over the Kansas City Royals.
Minnesota entered the bottom of the ninth inning trailing 3-to-nothing and was down to its final out. The Twins loaded the bases before Clemens came to the plate.
Down to the team’s final strike, Clemens launched a walk-off grand slam that turned a three-run deficit into a one-run victory.
