KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Salvador Perez is now the greatest home run hitter in Kansas City Royals history, and the team wants fans there to celebrate.
Perez hit his 318th career home run on July 25 in Detroit, passing Hall of Famer George Brett (317) to become the franchise’s all-time home run leader. The Royals will honor the milestone with a pregame ceremony on Tuesday, Aug. 4, before the team hosts the Minnesota Twins at Kauffman Stadium.
