Fan-favorite Salvador Perez made history last weekend, recording his 318th career home run in Detroit. Perez officially passed Hall of Famer George Brett for the most home runs in Royals franchise history. Perez tied Brett just three days before breaking his record.

Now, the team is inviting fans to celebrate the “home run king.”

The Royals will host a special pregame ceremony on Aug. 4 before they face the Minnesota Twins.

Fans are encouraged to arrive to Kauffman Stadium early, and be in their seats by 6:15 p.m.

And to make sure the stadium is packed, the team is offering discounted tickets starting at $13. Use the promo code SALVY318 for discounted prices.

The first 13,000 fans in the stadium will receive a commemorative poster as well.
