Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the MLB. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Milwaukee Brewers fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
In this week’s Reacts Survey, we’re asking fans if the Brewers will be in playoff contention entering the All-Star break, which runs from July 14-17. Currently sitting at 33-28 on the season, the Brewers are on an eight-game win streak that has pulled them within five games in the NL Central and just one game back in the NL Wild Card race, just behind the Giants (33-27) and Cardinals (33-26).
After a rough start to the month of May where the offense went stagnant, the Brewers have looked much better on both sides of the ball in the last couple of weeks. During their eight-game win streak, they’ve scored 51 runs (6.37/game) and allowed just 26 runs (3.25/game), sweeping the Red Sox and Phillies.
The Brewers currently have a 40.4% chance of making the postseason, per Baseball Reference, including a 36.1% chance of being a Wild Card and a 4.3% chance to win the NL Central. FanDuel Sportsbook currently gives the Brewers +235 odds (bet $100 to win $235) to make the playoffs and -300 odds (bet $300 to win $100) to miss the postseason for the first time since 2022.
Will the Brewers stay within shouting distance as we near the midpoint of the season? Answer the poll below and stay tuned for results later this week!
