The Guardians’ Dominican Summer League teams started scheduled play yesterday, and their Arizona Complex League team continued their schedule.

Shortstop Angel Genao hit ANOTHER home run and took three walks as he nears a return to (likely) Double-A play. Juneiker Caceres and Jaison Chourio each took two walks.
DSL Guardians Goryl 20, DSL Orioles Orange 4
15 hits for the DSL Guardians Goryl team (11 of them were singles) and THIRTEEN walks. So, yeah, this was a miserable game to watch, I am sure. Catcher Gustavo Baptista had a triple, a single and a walk. 18 year-old Alexander Garcia struck out 8 and gave up one hit, one walk and two earned runs in four innings.
DSL Padres Gold 9, DSL Guardians Mendoza 8
16-year old second-baseman Luis Galan had two hits and two walks, including a double. Centerfielder Estival Morillo went 2 for 6 with a double.
