MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A Memphian is getting a call up to the big leagues.
The Minnesota Twins are calling up Kaelen Culpepper to their major league roster.
Culpepper is a top 50 prospect who was drafted by the Twins in the first round of the 2024 MLB Draft.
He’s a Memphis native who played high school ball at Saint Benedict at Auburndale in Cordova.
Culpepper is hitting .271/.367/.478 in 74 games for AAA St. Paul this season.
