The Tigers came out for revenge on Saturday night, however, and played to an 8-0 shutout. Jackson Jobe earned his first win of the season after throwing for five innings in the start and striking out four batters. Detroit displayed some strong extra-base hitting in the win with RBI doubles from Dillon Dingler and Eduardo Valencia and an RBI triple from Max Clark, his first of the season.
Detroit will put Troy Melton on the mound on Sunday afternoon, while Logan Webb will get the start for the Giants. Melton is currently 7-1 on the season with an ERA of 1.58. Webb is currently 7-7 and has an ERA of 3.74.
