SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio attorney has been arrested on prostitution and human trafficking charges after Texas Department of Public Safety investigators raided his downtown law office Wednesday morning.
Neil Calfas, 56, was arrested and charged with solicitation of prostitution and human trafficking, according to an official with Texas DPS.
The arrest came after members of DPS’ Criminal Investigations Division were seen at the Calfas Law Group office off Broadway near East Houston Street early Wednesday.
Boxes and files were seen being removed from the office as a DPS trooper kept watch outside during the raid.
DPS has not released details about the allegations against Calfas or what investigators were searching for at his law office.
