BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A public Celebration of Life for legendary LSU baseball coach Skip Bertman is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 25, at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center (PMAC).
According to the Bertman family, the event will begin at 7 p.m., with doors opening to the public at 6 p.m.
A private gathering for Bertman’s family, former LSU baseball players and staff will be held beforehand.
Bertman led LSU baseball to five national championships and helped build the program into one of college baseball’s most successful.
