OSKALOOSA — The Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association released their 2026 all-state teams recently with one area boy earning honors.
Oskaloosa’s Jake North was named to the Class 3A third team all-state squad. The senior shortstop had an outstanding season for the Indians where he not only collected his 100th career hit, but also finished with a .490 batting average with a .562 on-base percentage and a 1.225 OPS. North also tallied 51 hits this summer alone with 11 doubles, two triples, one home run, 34 RBIs and 25 stolen bases while walking 15 times compared to just four strikeouts.
