PORTLAND, Maine (WABI) – Boston Red Sox outfielder Roman Anthony is scheduled to make a rehab assignment in Portland.
The Portland Sea Dogs said Monday that Anthony will join the Double-A team Tuesday.
Anthony has played in 30 MLB this season, but has been sidelined since May with a partially torn tendon in his right ring finger.
The Sea Dogs will take on the Reading Fightin Phils at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
