There are few things more iconic in baseball than the ballparks themselves. Every MLB stadium has its own personality, history, traditions and unique features, which makes ranking them an incredibly difficult task.

USA TODAY recently ranked all 30 MLB ballparks, and its top 10 features a mix of historic stadiums, modern gems and some surprising choices.

1. Fenway Park — Boston Red Sox

Coming in at No. 1 is Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox. Opened in 1912, Fenway is one of MLB’s two remaining traditional “jewel box” ballparks and is instantly recognizable thanks to the Green Monster.
2. Wrigley Field — Chicago Cubs
Wrigley Field takes the second spot. Another historic jewel-box stadium, Wrigley has been home to the Cubs since 1916 and remains one of the most recognizable venues in all of professional sports.
3. Dodger Stadium — Los Angeles Dodgers
The third spot belongs to Dodger Stadium, which opened in 1962 and remains one of baseball’s most famous venues. Its location, history, and classic design continue to make it a must-visit destination for baseball fans.

4. Oracle Park — San Francisco Giants

Oracle Park comes in at No. 4. The San Francisco ballpark is known for its waterfront setting and unique dimensions, including the famous right-field wall overlooking McCovey Cove. It has also developed a reputation as one of MLB’s more pitcher-friendly environments.
5. Kauffman Stadium — Kansas City Royals
Perhaps the biggest surprise near the top is Kauffman Stadium, which ranks fifth. The longtime home of the Royals opened in 1973 and remains one of the league’s distinctive stadiums.
6. Angel Stadium — Los Angeles Angels
Angel Stadium comes in at No. 6, giving Anaheim a spot among the elite ballparks in baseball. The stadium has been the Angels’ home since 1966 and is the oldest active MLB venue outside of Boston and Chicago.

7. Coors Field — Colorado Rockies

At No. 7 is Coors Field, one of baseball’s most unique stadiums. Located in Denver, the ballpark is famous for its high altitude, hitter-friendly environment and views of the Rocky Mountains. Recent 2026 rankings have also praised the overall experience at Coors Field.
8. PNC Park — Pittsburgh Pirates
PNC Park checks in at No. 8 and is another stadium frequently mentioned among baseball’s best. Its location along the Allegheny River provides spectacular views, particularly of downtown Pittsburgh.
9. Citizens Bank Park — Philadelphia Phillies
Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park earns the No. 9 spot. The home of the Phillies opened in 2004 and has become known for its passionate crowds and energetic atmosphere.
10. Camden Yards — Baltimore Orioles
Rounding out the list is Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Opened in 1992, Camden Yards helped influence the retro-style ballpark movement that followed and remains one of baseball’s most recognizable stadiums.
