Merrimack’s Mickey Gasper accomplished a rare feat on Wednesday — hitting a home run in three straight games for the Boston Red Sox.

Gasper launched a 3-run homer in the bottom of the 6th inning to tie the game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Arizona would go on to win the game, 7-6 in 10 innings.

Gasper was called up to the Red Sox from Triple-A Worcester on Sunday, replacing the injured Masataka Yoshida.

The Merrimack High School graduate and former Nashua Silver Knight has been a spark for the Red Sox offense.
