The end of Major League Baseball’s regular season is less than a month away, and to get the community excited about the playoff stretch, the Recreation and Parks Department will host a special Dodgers watch party at this week’s food truck night.
The Wednesday event will feature baseball-themed games and activities throughout the evening, featuring opportunities for participants to win prizes while watching the boys in blue take on the St. Louis Cardinals on a large screen.
Starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Plaza, at 313 West Tunnell St., the free event will include dinner options from a variety of local food trucks while watching the game.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating and arrive early to enjoy food and activities before the first pitch.
