The new “Railyards” stadium development is proposed for a 47-acre Amtrak site, directly across from The 78, where the Chicago Fire are constructing their new stadium.

The renderings indicate that The Railyards would extend from Roosevelt Road to the north to 18th Street to the south, adding commercial, residential, and healthcare space, located along the west bank of the Chicago River.
Ishbia currently has an agreement with White Sox Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf that includes an option to purchase the team after the 2034 season. So, it might be a while until we know the new home of the Chicago White Sox.
