Have you ever moved ‘away’ from home? It can be tough for a lot of reasons. You might not ‘make friends’ right away, or you might really crave a restaurant or a certain type of food that isn’t as available in your new location. One new Minnesota Viking is asking social media for some suggestions as he prepares for the upcoming season, living in the land of 10,000 restaurants.

New Viking Is Looking For ‘Must-Try’ Food Spots

One of the newest Minnesota Vikings players is looking for some help in finding places to try while he is here for the upcoming NFL season. Linebacker Kyle Van Noy took to X this weekend, asking social media for some places to try this upcoming football season.

Here are the 4 places that I would recommend to anyone who is ‘new’ to Minnesota, and 1 Central Minnesota ‘food spot’ to try.

4 Places Any ‘New’ Minnesotan Should Try

The first on the list has to be Matt’s Bar for the OG itself, the Jucy Lucy. Not familiar with a Jucy Lucy? It’s a burger stuffed with cheese and then cooked. It creates an ooey-gooey mess when you eat it, but give it a few minutes to eat it because that cheese is hot!

The second on my list for places to try is Davanni’s Pizza. I’m not alone in our building when I say try it. I grew up on it, as my mom was a store manager for years. There are plenty of locations around to try; just remember to get a half order of garlic cheese bread when you order.

My third pick might be a bit controversial: Spoon & Stable for some ‘fine dining’. It’s high-end, it’s upscale, but it’s SOOO worth it.

Finally, the fourth recommendation for any new Minnesotan is one you can often find at a local grocery store: a box of Old Dutch RIP-L chips and some Top the Tater. I know, it’s not a restaurant, but if you aren’t from here, at least sample something we all know and love.

Central Minnesota’s Pick?

If Kyle Van Noy finds himself in Central Minnesota in the near future, the institution on the East End should be one of his first stops. Val’s Rapid Serve. Grab a sack and find a parking lot to enjoy.

History of Minnesota Timberwolves’ 1st Round Draft Picks – Year by Year

No team has probably suffered more in its history in Minnesota than the Timberwolves from playoff failures to poor decisions, see Joe Smith’s contract, and bad trades it seems like the team is almost always in the wait-until-next-year mode. A look at the team’s first-round draft picks over the years may help explain some of it.
