The Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the Miami Marlins, 5-4, by way of a walk-off single. They fell to 24-12 on the year.
Ahead of the defeat, the ball club called up the player who would eventually blow the game in the 10th inning and be charged with the loss. They also brought a pitcher to Miami who will start Wednesday’s rubber match.
Finally, in even more roster moves from L.A., James Outman is currently with the team to help replace the Teoscar Hernández-sized hole in the lineup. After a strong showing in Triple-A, he hopes to keep up his hot bat and return to his rookie year form for the Dodgers.
