(Anaheim, CA) — The Minnesota Twins shut out the Los Angeles Angels 8-0 yesterday to split their four-game series in Anaheim. Alan Roden was 3-for-5 with a three-run homer and drove in four. D-H Josh Bell was 3-for-4 with two R-B-I. Dean Kremer worked six innings of one-hit shutout baseball to earn the win. The right-hander fanned eight Angels and walked three. Bailey Ober earned a three-inning save. L-A managed just two hits the entire game. Minnesota improved to 73-83 and has won two of its last three and will visit the San Francisco Giants to start a three-game series tonight at 8:45 P-M.
