MILWAUKEE (WLUK) — The Milwaukee Brewers have three games remaining on the regular season schedule before the postseason begins, and they’ve locked up another accomplishment that could be critical.
With the Dodgers losing on Thursday night, the Brewers will now have home field advantage throughout the playoffs and are the No. 1 overall seed.
According to Mike Vassallo, Sr. Director – Media Relations of the Brewers, they’re the first team in MLB history to win 100 games in a season without a winning streak longer than five games:
And, with Milwaukee eclipsing the century mark for wins, they can scratch its name off the list of franchises never winning 100 games in a season:
The previous records for most wins in a season for Milwaukee was 97 wins set in 2025, but the 2026 team could reach as many as 103 by Sunday.
