The White Sox placed catcher Jake Rogers on the paternity leave list and recalled catcher Drew Romo from Triple-A Charlotte prior to Saturday night’s game vs. Colorado.

The Chicago White Sox placed catcher Jake Rogers on the paternity leave list and recalled catcher Drew Romo from Triple-A Charlotte prior to Saturday night’s game vs. Colorado at Rate Field, the club announced.

Romo returns to the active roster after Chicago optioned him when catcher Kyle Teel was activated earlier this month. The corresponding recall gives the White Sox two catchers for tonight against the Rockies. The club did not announce how long Rogers will be away.
