Orioles to add new bar and social space at Oriole Park ahead of new season
BALTIMORE —
Days after the 2026 regular season came to a close, the Baltimore Orioles announced new renovations to Oriole Park ahead of the 2027 season.
Changes will be made to the left field upper deck area of the ballpark to make space for a new social space that will include a new bar, concessions and standing room viewing areas.
“We’ve listened to our fans, who have expressed a desire for more social spaces that offer a vibrant atmosphere to gather, connect, and cheer on the O’s together,” Orioles President of Business Operations Catie Griggs said in a written statement.
According to the team, construction of the new space will begin immediately and will be ready for Opening Day.
“By strategically reimagining existing spaces at Oriole Park at Camden Yards we are creating new game-day experiences while expanding opportunities for year-round business and community use,” said Lindsey Parker, executive director of the Maryland Stadium Authority.
The renovations will eliminate about 2,000 seats, reducing the capacity of Oriole Park at Camden Yards to 40,234.
The team said additional renovations to other areas of the ballpark will be announced later this year.
Last year, the team announced new upgrades to the ballpark’s video board and sound system.
