Drew Rasmussen will take the mound for the Tampa Bay Rays against the New York Yankees in Game 1 of the ALDS Saturday according to Marc Topkin. (Marc Topkin on Twitter )

Rasmussen will toe the rubber against a Yankees lineup that posted 18 runs in a two-game sweep of the Boston Red Sox in the AL Wild Card round, as the right-hander finished with a 2.67 ERA and 0.91 WHIP to go with a 9.1 K/9 ratio and 16-5 record over 30 regular season starts for manager Kevin Cash.
