The Rochester Roosters held a lesson and practice in 1860’s style baseball on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at the History Center of Olmsted County in Rochester.
The event was held in preparation for their first home games of the season which will take place on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Schmitt Field in Rochester.
The Roosters will take on the Anoka Rum River Rovers at 10:00 a.m. and the Mankato Baltics at 1:45 p.m.

Maya Giron joined the Post Bulletin staff in 2023. She grew up in the Berkshires area of Western Massachusetts and, in the spring of 2023, obtained a BFA in photojournalism from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Rochester, N.Y. While at RIT, she interned at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in Pittsburgh, Pa., and the Rapid City Journal in Rapid City, S.D., before moving to Minnesota.
