The Red Sox have struggled on the road, losing 11 of their last 15 games away from Fenway Park and holding a 13-18 overall road record. Pitching has been a major issue, with the staff posting a 4.00 ERA away from home.

Meanwhile, the Yankees are thriving in the Bronx, going 20-10 at home and winning 7 of their last 9 games there. Offensively, they’ve hit 53 home runs at Yankee Stadium—second most in MLB. CF Trent Grisham, 1B Paul Goldschmidt, and Bellinger have all taken Buehler deep in past matchups. Red Sox hitters, on the other hand, have never faced Warren, giving him an edge the first time through the order.

With New York’s power at home and Boston’s road struggles, the Yankees are in a strong position to take the series opener.

I’m staying away from this one. Both starting pitchers have never faced these lineups, creating too many unknowns. The Over/Under is 4-4-2 in the last 10 meetings, offering no clear edge on the total.
