Williamsport, Pa. — The defending champion Williamsport Crosscutters, in conjunction with the MLB Draft League, have announced their 2027 game schedule, which includes 40 home games at Journey Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field.
The seventh season of the MLB Draft League will open June 2 and conclude Aug. 31.
Williamsport opens defense of its 2026 championship at home with a two-game series against the West Virginia Black Bears on June 2 and 3. Every MLB Draft League team will visit Journey Bank Ballpark as part of Williamsport’s 40 home games.
A highlight of the 2027 schedule is the continuation of the International Series, with the Crosscutters hosting an international team June 11 to 13. Two international teams, to be announced at a later date, will again tour the MLB Draft League in mid-June, playing games that count in the overall standings.
Crosscutters home games will again start at 6:35 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 4:05 p.m. on Sundays. The exception is the Fourth of July home game against State College, which features a special 1:05 p.m. first pitch.
Main gates open one hour before game time. The MVP Gate for season ticket holders and Loggers Landing ticket holders opens 90 minutes before first pitch.
The MLB Draft League, run by Major League Baseball, serves as a showcase during the season’s first half, which runs from June 2 to July 10, for top draft-eligible prospects leading up the mid-July MLB Draft. After a break for the draft, play resumes in the second half, from July 14 to Aug. 31, with players who have exhausted their amateur eligibility or who have already played professionally. The first-place team from each half will meet in the MLB Draft League Championship Game on Sept. 1.
Through the end of the 2026 season, 21 Draft League alumni have made their MLB debuts. In the league’s first six seasons over 280 players have been drafted by MLB clubs, including 49 members of the Williamsport Crosscutters and over 190 additional players from the league have signed professional contracts as undrafted free agents.
The full schedule can be viewed on the Crosscutters website. Information on MVP Club Season Ticket Plans and Bonus Book Mini-Plans for the Cutters 2027 season will be announced in the coming days.
