At Chase Field: Kelly gave up one run in five innings against the Phillies last week, exiting his start due to leg cramps. It was at least the seventh time since August 2023 — and second time this season — that he has left early due to cramping. Kelly did not have any immediate answers as to what he might try to do differently to avoid the issue going forward. … In five career starts against the Mets, he has a 5.23 ERA. He has not faced them since 2023. … Senga labored against the Diamondbacks last week in New York, needing 87 pitches to get through four innings. The Diamondbacks scored three times against the Mets’ bullpen to win, 4-2. … Senga still has great career numbers against the Diamondbacks, with just two runs allowed in 18 innings and six walks compared to 28 strikeouts.
