Christine Lakin may have been another kid on a classic sitcom, but she’s also a busy mom these days!
The beloved actress, 46, who rose to stardom as Patrick Duffy’s daughter Al on Step by Step, was spotted out and about at one of her children’s Little League games this week, the Daily Mail reported. Al always was quite the tomboy!
Dressed in jeans, a tank top, and Birkenstock sandals, Lakin was unrecognizable thanks to her aviator sunglasses and Los Angeles Dodgers hat. Toting a water bottle and a baseball bag that included a bat, it was clear the doting mom was headed right to the field.

Lakin has two children: a son and a daughter. She occasionally posts the duo on social media and featured a sweet dedication to them on Mother’s Day.
“To the two who blessed me with motherhood. An exhausting, beautiful, chaotic, hilarious, tedious, amazing never never-ending journey. Take my hand, let’s keep walking. ❤️,” she wrote.
In addition to the ups and downs of motherhood, Lakin has had a thriving career in choreography.
“I started choreographing for True Blood. I did Westworld. I did 90210. I did all kinds of stuff. And then somehow met somebody who called me up and asked me to come do The Goldbergs,” she shared on Full House Rewind last year, PEOPLE reported.
That led to directing for shows like The Goldbergs, Schooled, and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
“It was also really inspiring because I felt like I was finally using all of this knowledge that I had after 25 years and doing the thing that I really loved and that I thought I was really good at,” she continued.
