The Mariners on Sunday snapped a five-game losing streak with a win in Anaheim, avoiding back-to-back sweeps. They begin a fresh series in Phoenix this evening. The Mariners won’t face another team below .500 until they visit Arlington at the end of June. Emerson Hancock will take the mound for the Mariners, looking to build off consecutive solid performances against the Nationals and Orioles. He’ll face a darn good Diamondbacks lineup in one of the more batter friendly environments across MLB.
