RAPID CITY, S.D. – Post 22 lost to Sheridan on Sunday in the championship game of the Black Hills Veterans Classic.
That snapped the Hardhats’ 13 game winning streak.
But the Boys of Summer started a new winning streak on Tuesday as they played a doubleheader against the Williston Keybirds.
Post 22 rallied from five runs down in the seventh inning to beat Williston, 8-7 in the first game.
Then Wyatt Reeder hit two home runs to lead the Hardhats past the Keybirds in the second game, 11-1 in five innings.
