Former Crowder Roughrider Jacob Misiorowski is getting his shot at playing in the big leagues.
According to ESPN’s Jeff Passan, Misiorowski is being promoted to the Milwaukee Brewers’ major league club — and is expected to make his first start on Thursday night against the Cardinals.
The Milwaukee Brewers are calling up right-hander Jacob Misiorowski, one of the best pitching prospects in baseball, sources tell ESPN. Misiorowski, ranked 30th among all prospects by @kileymcd, has a fastball that’s been up to 103 mph this year. He’s expected to start Thursday.

Misiorowski spent two seasons with Crowder (2021 & 2022).
He saw action in just two games before redshirting his first year. In his second season, the 6’7 righthander posted a 10-0 record, 2.72 ERA, and racked up 136 strikeouts in 76 innings pitched.
Misiorowski then passed up an opportunity to continue his collegiate baseball career at LSU. He was selected by the Brewers with the 63rd overall pick in the 2022 MLB Draft.
