(KANSAS CITY, MO) – St. Joseph native Noah Cameron got his 6th start of the season and third start at Kauffman Stadium Tuesday night for the Kansas City Royals. KC fell to the New York Yankees, 10-2.
Cameron did not have his best performance, giving up 7 hits and 6 runs in 5.2 innings pitched while adding 6 strikeouts. Cameron gave up a 469 foot 2-run home run to Aaron Judge in the 1st inning and a 3-run home run to Austin Wells in the 4th.
Cameron picks up his second loss of the season (2-2) and his ERA drops to 2.17. Cameron’s next scheduled start will be on Tuesday, June 17th on the road against the Texas Rangers at 7:05 pm.
