New Bloomfield — Former Fatima Comets baseball standout Will Robertson has made the big leagues.
The 27-year-old outfielder was called up to the Toronto Blue Jays late Tuesday night and will make the trip to St. Louis for Wednesday afternoon’s game against the Cardinals.
Robertson has had a breakout 2025 campaign at the AAA level with a .288 batting average and 12 home runs to his name.
He was named Player of the Week in the International League earlier this week before he got the call-up.
After graduating from Fatima High School, Robertson spent four years at Creighton University and has spent the past six seasons in the Toronto farm system.
The Blue Jays and Cardinals are scheduled to play at 1:15 p.m. at Busch Stadium to close out a three-game series.
