CINCINNATI (WKRC) — Twenty-three members of the iconic 1975 and 1976 Cincinnati Reds teams, known as the Big Red Machine, are set to reunite for a 50th Anniversary Reunion Celebration from June 26-29. The event will honor the team’s historic back-to-back World Series victories and their lasting impact on Major League Baseball.

The celebration will feature a series of events, including an intimate evening with the players at the Jarson-Kaplan Theater, benefiting the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum. Fans will have the chance to hear live storytelling and reflections from the players, hosted by Reds Hall of Fame broadcaster Marty Brennaman.

“Fifty years ago, we were living in a movie about greatness, grit, friendship, and life—but we were too busy redefining the game to realize it,” said Hall of Fame catcher Johnny Bench in a media release. “The fans back then—and even now, fifty years later—are part of this incredible experience, which is why my teammates and I want to celebrate with them in Cincinnati.”

The weekend will also include player meet-and-greet sessions at the Reds Hall of Fame & Museum, a pregame parade, and celebrations at Great American Ball Park during the Reds’ series against the San Diego Padres. Fans attending the game on June 28 will receive a Big Red Machine cap, while supplies last.

Players scheduled to attend include Johnny Bench, Tony Perez, Ken Griffey, George Foster, Cesar Geronimo, Jack Billingham, Clay Carroll, Tom Carroll, Darrel Chaney, Terry Crowley, Pat Darcy, Dan Driessen, Rawly Eastwick, Doug Flynn, Will McEnaney, Fred Norman, Santo Alcala, Tom Hall, Rich Hinton, Mike Lum, Manny Sarmiento, Don Werner and Joel Youngblood.
