BALTIMORE (WBFF) — The Orioles celebrated a major milestone in their ongoing commitment to public art and community engagement on Tuesday with the unveiling of the 10th Birdland Mural, powered by PNC.
The latest addition to the vibrant mural series features a bold, joyful design by Baltimore-based multidisciplinary artist Kid Balloon, and is now on display at Gate C inside Camden Yards.
This year’s mural continues the Birdland Murals series’ mission of honoring Baltimore’s unique cultural identity through public art, while also enhancing the fan experience at the ballpark.
Positioned at one of the park’s busiest entry points, the new installation offers fans a striking visual welcome and a meaningful photo opportunity during home games.
We are excited and proud to unveil the latest installment of the Birdland Murals powered by PNC,” said Laura Gamble, PNC regional president for Greater Maryland, via press release. “PNC has a long history of investing in the arts in Baltimore. This new work by Kid Balloon is sure to delight ballpark visitors at every home game.

Launched in 2019, the Birdland Murals series now includes 10 works across Baltimore, with seven murals inside Oriole Park, one at the Baltimore Convention Center, and another in the Waverly community.
Officials say the initiative, a collaboration between the Orioles and PNC Bank, aims to support local artists and inspire city pride through accessible, high-quality art.
Kid Balloon, the artist behind the 10th mural, is known for his colorful, community-centered work that spans visual art, graphic design, fashion, and creative direction.
With deep roots in Baltimore, his projects have included collaborations with local schools and organizations like BTST Cares and Hotel Revival, as well as national brands such as Timberland, Hennessy, and DTLR.
Officials say his signature style celebrates resilience, joy, and the uplifting power of art — themes that resonate strongly in his latest mural for Oriole Park.
The Birdland Murals series allows us to use the power of public art to honor Baltimore’s rich identity,” said Kerry R. Watson, Jr., Orioles Executive Vice President of Public Affairs, via press release. “Kid Balloon’s work is a brilliant reminder of what happens when we give our artists space to lead. When nurtured by their community, artists can create work that is thoughtful, vibrant, and deeply rooted in the city’s creative spirit. We’re honored to provide a platform for local artists to share their vision with fans and families alike.
