Jefferson City, Helias, and Rock Bridge earn baseball wins Wednesday

New Bloomfield — A trio of teams from the Central Missouri Activities Conference headline Wednesday’s local baseball winners.

Starting at Capital City, Jefferson City took down their crosstown rivals, 12-2.

After giving up two runs to begin the game, the Jays responded by scoring 12 unanswered runs to secure the win.

Across town, Helias got back to their winning ways with a 6-3 victory over Hickman.

The win split the two-game series with the Kewpies.

Up in Columbia, Rock Bridge got the win on senior night with a 10-0 result over Camdenton.
