Great American Ball Park made it a clean sweep of rain delays on Sunday for the Cincinnati Reds‘ series against the Washington Nationals.

The Reds and Nationals scheduled 4:10 p.m. start will be delayed, with the delay likely being short, according to a Reds spokesman. Reds officials then confirmed the game was scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m.

Even with a short delay, the delay marked four consecutive Reds games in Cincinnati delayed by weather. And that was after Tuesday’s game against the St. Louis Cardinals was postponed and moved to Wednesday for a day-night doubleheader.

So far during this homestand, the Reds have amassed over four hours worth of rain delays over four games and the one rainout.

The Enquirer will update this report.
